This retreat is based here in the southern Alpes at Greolieres village, Alpes Maritimes.
La Maison du Loup is situated on the outskirts of the village and 50 minutes from the Mediterranean. This area enjoys year round sunny weather, a mix of the Alpine and Mediterranean ecosystems and has incredible walking trails and wild swimming spots to explore. It truly is a magical place, and Simone - your guide - having lived here for 12 years before moving up to Morzine , knows all the best places to explore, relax and swim.

You will be hosted and catered for by me - Nik Stapley. Your daily menu will include a Mediterranean style breakfast on the terrace. Your packed lunch will be selected from a range of delicious locally sourced (where possible) wares to enjoy on your days activities.
On your return, you will be greeted with tea and cake. After your yoga session, you are invited to relax on the terrace with snacks and a sundowner while the aromas of your 2 course evening meal waft by. Local wine will be served with your meal.
All dietary requirements can be catered for with prior request and notification.
Our daily programme for 5 days will include:
7.30am – Morning meditation.
8.00am – Mediterranean style breakfast on the terrace.
9.15am – Daily hike guided by Simone Simpson. Picnic lunch. Possible wild swim.
4.30pm – Return to base. Tea and cake.
5.00pm – Yoga session on the outdoor terrace.
7.00pm – Sundowner and snacks.
8.00pm – Evening meal with wine.
N.B. The level of hiking and yoga will be suitable for beginners, though a certain level of fitness will be required as we will be walking in the Alps.
REST DAY
In the middle of the week we will have a day off from the above programme. You can have a complete day off to soak up the Mediterranean sun on the terrace, or there will be an option to visit the Verdon gorge (spectacular Grand Canyon of Europe, or St. Paul de Vence ( famous Picasso retreat with lots of art galleries) or head down to the Mediterranean sea for a swim. All of these are only a 50 minute drive from Greolieres and we can choose the best place for the weather of the day.
